Following the launch of its Graphite social commerce platform in late April, 8thBridge provided an update on its progress, saying that in their first four weeks on the platform, participating brands saw an average 10 percent increase in traffic from Facebook.

8thBridge also offered the following statistics, all of which are averages for Graphite customers:

  • Every share leads to 85 Shoppable Story impressions on Facebook.
  • Facebook users click on Shoppable Stories 18 times more than on links.
  • Every share leads to one visit back to customers’ websites.
  • Each share produces $3 in sales.

Graphite customers include American Apparel, Avon/mark, Deb Shops, Dogeared, Elle, Guitar Center, Hallmark, Hayneedle.com, Milly, Nasty Gal, Nine West, Oscar de la Renta, Plum District, and Toms.
