Facebook Adds Two Charts To App Insights

Facebook continues to expand the information available in its insights for applications with the addition of two new charts: growth accounting, and triangle heatmap.

The growth accounting chart delivers data to developers on changes in active users over time, including installs, uninstalls, active users who are no longer active, inactive users who began using the app, and retained users.

And the triangle heatmap, available for apps with more than 25,000 monthly active users, displays how new users engage with the apps over time, enabling developers to detect patterns and adjust their apps and content accordingly.

The triangle heatmap will only appear under the growth tab for apps with enough monthly users, and data will not be available for days with fewer than 30 new installs of the app.
