Facebook Users Cook Up ‘Breaking Bad’ Posts

BreakingBadGoodbyeUPDATED: The final episode of AMC’s hit drama, “Breaking Bad,” aired Sunday night, and more than 3 million Facebook users generated more than 5.5 million interactions during the show, according to the social network, which added that in the series’ fifth and final season alone, there have been 23.68 million posts and interactions related to “Breaking Bad,” from 11.14 million unique users.

Facebook also found that the top U.S. state in terms of percentage of monthly active users who mentioned “Breaking Bad” was New Mexico, where the series takes place, and the top country, unsurprisingly, was the U.S.

The top 10 states by percentage of MAUs mentioning the show were:

  1. New Mexico
  2. New York
  3. Arizona
  4. Rhode Island
  5. Massachusetts
  6. California
  7. New Hampshire
  8. Idaho
  9. Illinois
  10. Pennsylvania

And the top 10 countries were:

  1. U.S.
  2. Canada
  3. U.K.
  4. Australia
  5. Israel
  6. New Zealand
  7. Peru
  8. Sweden
  9. Norway
  10. Spain
