The creator of Facebook discussion application Forum for Pages, developer Pixode, released a related app that allows page administrators to create chat rooms accessible via tabs on their pages.

Chat for Pages can be used for customer support, dialog with customers, or discussion about a company’s products or services, and it offers features including:

  • Private chat between two users.
  • The ability for users to send notifications to friends alerting them that they are available to chat.
  • The ability to write in different colors and add emoticons.
  • The ability to tag other users in public chats.
