Cleverbug Starts Delivering Facebook E-Cards

Cleverbug, which takes the Facebook birthday and greeting card experience to a tangible level, has announced that it will start offering e-cards over the social network. Users can design Facebook e-cards via the Cleverbug iOS app and send them to friends for free.

If users don’t want to send physical cards to Facebook friends, they now have the option of using the social network to send personally designed Cleverbug virtual cards.

Cleverbug Founder and CEO Kealan Lennon sent an email to AllFacebook about his company’s newest offering:

Facebook is still a central place where people celebrate birthdays with photos, wall posts, events, check-ins, and private messages. With our eCards, we’ve made it possible for people to keep the birthday card tradition alive within Facebook, as well as offline. We also know that people love to share photo content within Facebook, and our algorithms automatically select photos the eCard recipient added to Facebook themselves, in addition to the ones that their friends liked most, so the finished product is sure to be something they enjoy.
