Comment Game Gives Facebook Page Admins Simple Engagement Options

CommentGameContestsFacebook comments are not all fun and games, but a small startup out of Portugal is looking to change that, as Comment Game is taking advantage of the opportunities presented by Facebook’s recently relaxed promotions guidelines.

As its name suggests, Comment Game allows page administrators to create games on their pages, which Facebook users enter via comments.

The three basic types of comment games offered by Comment Game are:

  • Last comment posted wins: This option is self-explanatory, but page admins can choose the time frame from the last comment to the end of the contest.
  • The comment with the most likes wins: The aim of this type of game is to encourage users to share their comments with friends in order to gain more likes.
  • Randomly chosen comment wins: This is the easiest of the three options for page admins to run.

Comment Game offered examples of questions for users to comment on:

  • Can you describe our brand in one sentence?
  • Help us choose a logo.

Readers: Have you ever entered a contest by commenting on a Facebook page’s post?
