Facebook Conducting Customer-Satisfaction Survey

A Facebook customer-satisfaction survey appears to be making the rounds, but this one sticks to the user experience, and doesn’t detour into politics, like a similar effort that was released in error last month.

Some Facebook users (including yours truly) are being greeted by a message at the top of their news feeds, including their first names and reading, “We’d like to hear from you. Please take three to four minutes to tell us about your experience using Facebook.

The survey then spans 15 pages, with the following questions (screen grabs below):

  • Overall, how satisfied are you with your Facebook experience?
  • How likely are you to recommend Facebook to someone you know?
  • How important is Facebook in staying connected to: close friends and family; acquaintances; celebrities and other public figures?
  • How well or poorly does your profile represent who you are and what you care about?
  • How do you feel about the number of friends you have on Facebook?
  • How much do you feel in control of your personal information on Facebook?
  • How much do you trust Facebook to handle your personal information responsibly?
  • How well do you understand how to control your privacy on Facebook?
  • How reliably does Facebook work the way it’s supposed to (I.e., without bugs, errors, or delays)?
  • How easy or difficult is Facebook to use?
  • How useful is Facebook overall?
  • How much fun is Facebook overall?
  • How trustworthy is Facebook overall?
  • In your opinion, how much value does Facebook place on providing a good experience for users?
  • Please share any additional feedback you have about your experience using Facebook. (Optional.)
  • Please share any feedback you have about this survey. (Optional.)

Readers: Have you seen the link to this survey at the top of your news feeds? Have you completed it, or will you?
