Facebook Holds Steady At 127 Out Of 137 Countries In December 2013 World Map Of Social Networks

December2013WorldMapOfSocialNetworks650Facebook remains the dominant social network in 127 of the 137 countries analyzed in the December 2013 edition of Vincos Blog’s World Map of Social Networks, the same total as the June 2013 edition.

Vincos Blog said Facebook lost its top spot in Kyrgyzstan, but it surpassed Maktoob for the No. 1 position in Syria.

vKontakte and Odnoklassniki continued to grapple for control of the Russian territories, according to Vincos Blog, while QZone is seeing its hold on China threatened by instant-messaging applications such as QQ International and Weixin/WeChat.

Vincos Blog added that Cloob is still tops in Iran, where access to Facebook is limited due to censorship.
