Facebook Storefront Creator Easy Social Shop Closes Funding Round

EasySocialShopLogo650Social commerce solution Easy Social Shop announced the completion of a funding round led by Lool Ventures, bringing its total raised to date to nearly $2 million.

Easy Social Shop said the funds will go toward accelerating success and consumer adoption, adding that it now counts more than 80,000 Facebook stores, driving sales growth of 10 percent to 18 percent in those shops.

CEO Nissim Lehyani said in a release announcing the funding:

Social commerce levels the playing field for SMBs (small and midsized businesses) by emphasizing engagement and word of mouth. Easy Social Shop succeeds because we speak the language of social media. This funding allows us to expand our social tool box, exponentially increasing our ability to help SMBs communicate through this critical medium. Now we can provide SMBs with the tools normally reserved for major brands, like advanced audience discovery and the analysis necessary to turn social insights into sales.
