Facebook Adds Drop-Down Menu After Users Like Pages

Facebook has added a drop-down menu to the like button on pages that gives users who have liked those pages the options of adding those pages to interest lists, showing the likes in their news feeds, and unliking the pages.

Prior to the introduction of this drop-down menu, users who opted not to display the fact that they had liked pages on their news feeds had to hide those posts via their activity logs, and users who wished to add newly liked pages to their interest lists had to manually do so.

The ability to unlike pages was located under the down arrow drop-down menu, but it has now been moved to the new drop-down menu.

Readers: Are you seeing the new drop-down menu after liking pages, and what do you think of it?

Thank you to Ticular Principal Ulrike Ruppelt for the tip and screen shot.
