Facebook Gives Android Users Ability To Upload New Cover Photos

Facebook recently pushed out a minor update to its Android native application, allowing users to change their cover images from their phones or tablets. The social network also fixed issues regarding the “find friends” prompt and image loading.

A few days after Facebook released an iOS update that included free voice calls in Canada and the U.S., the company rolled out a small upgrade to its Android app.

To change the cover image, go to the profile page, then tap the cover photo. The app will then prompt users to view the image or to change it. Choosing to change the image leads users to the photos on their phone. They can either upload a photo to be used as a cover image, or take one. It doesn’t appear that a user can change the cover image to a photo they already have on Facebook.
