Facebook Checks In More March Madness Applications

The 2012 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament tipped off with two games last night, but there’s still plenty of time to fill those brackets out; the Atlantic Coast Conference, USA Today, Sports Illustrated, and Sporting News are all providing social applications to do that via Facebook.

Five teams from the ACC will play in the NCAA Tournament, and USA Today and Sports Illustrated are go-to resources for college basketball coverage, as is Sporting News.

Sporting News also boasts an impressive roster of athletes that are participating in its Bracket Insanity contest, including:

  • James Harrison, Pittsburgh Steelers;
  • Jason McCourty, Tennessee Titans;
  • Devin McCourty, New England Patriots;
  • LaMarr Woodley, Pittsburgh Steelers;
  • Stevan Ridley, New England Patriots;
  • Ben Tate, Houston Texans;
  • Eric LeGrand, Rutgers; and
  • Adam Schefter, ESPN.
