Facebook Social Research Platform Launches

Adknowledge and Techlightenment have launched a social research platform that promises to help brands research what users are doing on Facebook.

“In the same way that Hollywood studios screen movies to gauge consumer reaction prior to general release, companies can use the social research platform to test and refine brand messaging or get feedback on products,” said Ankur Shah, co-founder of Techlightenment, a unit of Experian, an a press release “And with the social research platform, we can reach more than 10,000 people, online, in a day.”

Adknowledge will distribute the surveys through its Super Rewards platform, which like its name suggests, rewards consumers who complete the questionnaires with virtual currency that can be used in Facebook games. Participating brands can also promote the surveys on their own Facebook pages and websites.
