Tab Puts Artists' ITunes On Facebook Timeline Pages

Do we see iTunes on Facebook? Well, not quite, but a new tab application from Tabfusion brings elements of the Apple commerce hub to the social network.

The free iTunes app from Tabfusion allows artists to import and display their catalogs from iTunes on their Facebook pages.

Facebook users will not be able to access full songs and videos. Rather, the same 30-second previews available via iTunes can be accessed via pages using the Tabfusion app.

Tabfusion said its iTunes app is not sponsored by Apple or Facebook, but is fully compliant with Apple’s terms of service and usage rules for its application-programming interface.

The new offering from Tabfusion is akin to a tab version of BandPage, the software used by 500,000 musicians’ pages on Facebook.

Readers, how has social media influenced your music listening habits?
