Facebook Tests Yet Another Timeline Design, Mixing Old And New Elements

Facebook’s new Timeline design isn’t even one month old, but apparently, the site is still testing new looks. Blink Vice President of Planning and Media Eti Suruzon noticed that her Timeline looked a little different, with a mix of old and new designs.

Suruzon’s Timeline design has some aspects of the new look, such as the tabs and white name text, but posts show up on the left side of her page. With the new Timeline that began rolling out earlier this month, posts are on the right side, with Open Graph modules, application activity, and sections such as about and friends on the left side.

Facebook confirmed that this is a test, according to sister site Inside Facebook. It appears that the company is still unsure which design is best.
