The United Nations Refugee Agency, or UNHCR, launched the Do 1 Thing Facebook app, enabling users to show and share their support for people who are forced to flee their homes.
In a status update on the Non-Profits on Facebook page, UNHCR wrote:
Did you know that every minute, eight people flee their homes due to conflict or persecution? Add your voice to help the plight of refugees worldwide and share it with your friends on Facebook with the UNHCR‘s new Do 1 Thing Facebook app.
At the time of this post, Do 1 Thing had tallied nearly 112,000 likes.
