From the Fmeme homepage:
Fmeme is not in association or partnership with Facebook. Fmeme is not sponsored or endorsed by Facebook. This site was only developed to show the great things that can be accomplished using the Facebook API and its social plug-ins. We are aiming at best practices and do not store passwords.
Results can be sorted by photos, links, or videos, or by a list of several topical channels. Users must log in via Facebook Connect to submit content.
However, while the concept is promising, the execution still needs some work: At the time of this post, theo6151′s Channel on YouTube was listed with more than 10 times the likes total of any other entry, at some 5 million, despite the actual YouTube channel totaling just 216 views.
Other content that made the Fmeme top 10 at the time of this post included a Charlie Sheen “Winning” dub, a video for Tool’s “Stinkfist,” the official Racism in the Elevator video, and an NPR story about an Austrian man who was granted permission to wear a pasta strainer on his head for his driver’s license photo.
