WARNING: Facebook Promotion Offering $250 Gift Cards To Kroger Is Not Legit

KrogerLogo650Customers of grocery chain Kroger who planned to use the $250 gift cards they received through posts on Facebook to stock up for Christmas dinner may want to make alternate plans, as WAFF of Huntsville, Ala., reported that the promotion is actually a scam.

Kroger officials told WAFF the gift-card giveaway is not affiliated with or supported by the company, and it urged Facebook users not to engage with posts related to the promotion and not to provide any personal information.

The grocery chain also posted a warning on its Facebook page.
