Facebook PMD Gigya Tumbles With Tumblr

GigyaSharePlugin650Being a Facebook Preferred Marketing Developer doesn’t mean companies can’t focus on other social networks, as well, and PMD Gigya announced that it expanded its consumer-management offerings by reaching a partnership with Tumblr.

Tumblr’s share and follow functionalities will now be available via Gigya’s share plugins, enabling Gigya clients, including A&E Television Networks, to easily incorporate Tumblr sharing and add fans on that social network.

Gigya CEO Patrick Salyer said in a release announcing the Tumblr partnership:

Tumblr has really become a mainstay social network, and it is an important sharing destination with a large and active community. Our partnership helps our customers reach broader audiences and spread their content across the Web.

Tumblr Head of Business Development T.R. Newcomb added:

We’re excited to help brands on Tumblr connect more easily with their fans.
