Social media marketing software creator GroSocial has been testing a group-style promotion application for Facebook pages, Puzzle Promo, and the results led the company to include it in its platform.

Facebook users can enter simply by providing their email addresses, and they are prompted to share the promotions by being offered extra entries. They are not required to like associated pages, but giveaway items are hidden behind like gates.

GroSocial said energy drink brand Monster Energy used Puzzle Promo for its Ride Like the Pros sweepstakes and achieved the following results:

  • More than 6,500 entries.
  • More than 30,000 likes generated.
  • More than 50,000 tab impressions.
  • More than 5,000 shares during the promotion period.
