Facebook Emails HasOffers Users, Suggests Ad-X, AppsFlyer As Alternatives

AppsFlyerLogo650In the wake of Facebook’s dismissal of attribution analytics provider HasOffers and mobile analytics provider Kontagent from its mobile measurement partner program, the social network is sending emails to HasOffers users, recommending Ad-X and AppsFlyer as potential replacements.

A HasOffers user shared the email below with AllFacebook, which reads:

Facebook operates several programs where developers can build and grow successful companies leveraging our scale and identity. We believe in industry-leading data practices, and companies that choose to work with us are aware of our strong position around data practices.

As part of our ongoing efforts to maintain a high-quality mobile measurement program, we worked with a third-party auditor to review our mobile measurement partners’ contractual compliance with Facebook. In the audit, we found that HasOffers was not adhering to the terms it agreed to, and, as a result, we are removing HasOffers from our mobile measurement program. We take our contracts seriously, and we will continue to act swiftly anytime we find out that they are being violated. HasOffers will no longer have access to past or future Facebook mobile measurement data starting April 15.

This means that on April 15, you can no longer rely on HasOffers for measuring mobile application installs or downstream events from Facebook mobile app ads.

I understand that this presents a challenging situation, and I am here to help make the transition from HasOffers as easy as possible for your and your team.

I have surveyed other mobile measurement partners and recommend that you chat with Ad-X or AppsFlyer. These partners’ solutions best meet your mobile app measurement needs.
