Mitt Romney has more total Facebook fans than any of the other contenders in the Republican presidential primaries, but Herman Cain has the highest rate of engagement.
While Romney has more than double the number of fans that any other candidate has, he has the lowest engagement rate.
By contrast, non-contender Sarah Palin has a lower rate of fan involvement than any of the candidates, despite having three times as many fans as Romney.
Fangager measured GOP candidates’ engagement rates over the past month, and found that the most engaging aren’t the ones with the largest numbers of fans.
