Taking a quick-hit Web-surfing break from work? May we implore you to check out this witty visual chronicling Facebook’s history, created by the clever staffers over at Inc.?
Inc. put together this handy-dandy timeline of sorts, assembled as a string of Facebook updates from initial public offering big-hitters including (but not limited to) Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg, initial Facebook investor Peter Thiel, Accel Partners, and Yahoo, to name a few.
It dates back to March 2003, with a post reading:
Mark Zuckerberg just created Facemash. Compare G=Harvard students’ hotness. LOL
In 2004, Thiel weighs in:
Just gave you $500,000!
Yahoo piped up in March 2006:
But what if we give you $1 billion?
To which Zuckerberg replies:
Girlfriend in town. Let’s talk later (along with a photo of him walking with girlfriend Priscilla Chan)
Hence, words do not do this experience justice.
