Facebook mobile users in India are no longer limited to English, as the social network launched support for 10 new languages in the country.
The Economic Times reported that mobile users in India can now access Facebook in national languages Hindi, Malay, and Vietnamese, as well as the following seven local Indian languages:
According to Socialbakers, India is the second-largest country in terms of Facebook users, with nearly 45.9 million, trailing only the U.S., which is approaching 155 million.
However, not all is rosy for the social network in India, as it is one of 12 online services involved in a trial over not deleting potentially offensive content.
