The company said in a recent blog post that it analyzed more than 50,000 active pages and 300,000 custom apps that serve more than 1.4 billion Facebook fans, and it found that:
- Engagement on custom Facebook page apps jumps by as much as 66 percent in December.
- Brands see a 66 percent increase in content submissions.
- Custom Facebook page app shares rise 57 percent during the month.
- Custom Facebook page app views go up 47 percent.
- Custom Facebook page app shares to specific friends see a 33 percent gain.
