While Zynga’s updated stock filings are causing much ado, we’re seeing dollar signs all over the fact that people tend to get hooked on more than one game title at a time — like an infographic from optim.al shows.
To clarify some aspects of the infographic, “post from” refers to the most active players of the game, while “like” simply refers to those who’ve clicked said icon on the game’s page. Notice how the two sets of numbers different?
And here’s an example that will help make clear how to read the two columns, 16.9 percent of the most active players of Cityville are also the most active players of FarmVille, while 44.7 percent of those who like CityVille also like FarmVille.
