Sponsored stories have become prominent when you’re checking Facebook on your computer, but now they’ll show up on your phone, too.
Involved Media, one of the major paid social media advertising companies, announced Monday that it has incorporated the ability to purchase sponsored stories that will show up on Facebook’s mobile news feed via Facade, the company’s paid social ad platform.
Involved Media feels that this will be a boon to marketers that use Facade, as those companies can now tailor advertising for a mobile market.
Neal Weinberg, Involved Media’s founder and CEO, wrote in a press release:
Adding this mobile targeting into Facade so quickly demonstrates to our many partners how important we feel mobile is to the paid media social ecosystem. This is another important step in our mission to provide the online advertising industry’s most comprehensive and transparent media buying and campaign management platform.
Facebook announced earlier this month that sponsored stories are available for purchase through its ads application-programming interface and power editor.
Vitrue, a Facebook and social enterprise software provider, chose Involved Media as an ad-management partner in May.
