Is It Time To Get Married? ‘Time’ And Facebook Have The Answer

IsItTimeIGotMarried650With Valentine’s Day coming up Friday, Time created a Facebook application aimed at telling users what age they should be when they get married.

After users grant Is it time I got married? permission to access their Facebook accounts, the app examines the dates of birth of friends that list the full dates, and it calculates the median age of married friends to arrive at its conclusion.

Time said it includes friends with relationship statuses of married, engaged, in a domestic partnership, or in a civil union, and its final result is a figure at which one-half of those friends are younger than that date and one-half are older.
