Facebook Director Of Design Kate Aronowitz Named Director Of Brand Design

Facebook Director of Design Kate Aronowitz announced at the Fortune Brainstorm Tech conference in Aspen, Colo., that she will become the social network’s director of brand design, MarketWatch reported.

Aronowitz will join Facebook’s global creative services team and report to Director of Global Creative Solutions Mark D’Arcy, according to MarketWatch, and she will work with top 100 brands and push for more “compelling, targeted content” in ads.

Prior to Facebook, she was director of design at LinkedIn, following a stint as senior manager of user experience and design at eBay.

Aronowitz said at the conference, as reported by MarketWatch:

I think I can bring my background on how the design of Facebook and user experience works to my new position, which I think will make for better creative brand content overall.
