Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg No Longer One Of World’s 40 Richest People

Poor Mark Zuckerberg. First, the Facebook co-founder and CEO watched his company’s stock flounder after it went public. Now his own stock has fallen. Business Insider reported Thursday that Zuckerberg is no longer among the 40 richest people in the world.

Forbes hasn’t updated its list since March, but Zuckerberg then was No. 35 on the list of richest people in the world. At 27 (now 28), he’s by far the youngest billionaire. The next-youngest is fellow Harvard alum and Colombian beer magnate Alejandro Santo Domingo Davila. Zuck still has a ways to go. Although he was valued at $17.5 billion in March, the world’s richest person is Carlos Slim Helu, CEO of Mexican telecommunications company Telmex, who is worth $69 billion.

Maybe Zuckerberg should look into getting a raise. After all, he’s only making $1 this year. Luckily, he got a great deal when he refinanced his home recently. He could use the savings.
