New Social Reader Apps Allow ‘Men’s Health,’ ‘Women’s Health’ Readers To ‘Get More’

Readers of Rodale magazines Men’s Health and Women’s Health who want more can now “Get More,” as the publications launched respective Facebook social reader applications under that name.

Users of Men’s Health Get More and Women’s Health Get More, both of which launched Tuesday, will gain access to:

  • Content from each magazine without having to leave the Facebook environment.
  • Extra information.
  • Bonus workouts.
  • Interactive quizzes.
  • Weekend workout challenges.
  • Exclusive videos.

Rodale said in an email announcing the apps:

These social readers give our Facebook audience a way to consume our content without having to leave Facebook. Users opt-in in order to get the newest content from both magazines every day. One enabled, readers pick and choose what’s relevant to them and what they’re interested in.

Social media has always been a priority for both Men’s Health and Women’s Health, as challenges like exercising or healthy eating can often feel easier with the camaraderie of friends.
