Font Size in Updated Facebook Messenger App for iOS Now Matches Font Size in Settings Panel

FacebookAccessibilityLogo650Facebook released an update to its Messenger application for iOS, in which the size of text in the app conforms to the text size users specify in the settings panels of their devices.

The social network announced the new feature in a post on its Facebook Accessibility page:

We are excited to share that the latest Facebook Messenger iOS app now supports dynamic type, which means that if you adjust the font size in the settings panel, it will reflect within the app with the appropriate font size.

The “What’s New” section on the app’s page in the iTunes App Store reads:

Text size now automatically adjusts to the size indicated in your device settings.
