MOTHER’S DAY: 1-800-Flowers Outgrows Facebook Competition In Likes, Engagement

With Mother’s Day on the calendar this coming Sunday, flower companies are in the midst of one of their busiest periods of the year, but that doesn’t mean their Facebook pages are going unwatered.

1-800-Flowers is blowing away its competition in terms of likes and engagement, specifically fan interactions per post, according to data from analytics provider Socialbakers.

Socialbakers noted that Teleflora was tops in engagement for the day of May 1, likely due to a promoted post it published on that day.
