A 180 By Moves On Data Sharing With Facebook?

UTurn650When Facebook announced its acquisition last month of fitness-tracking application Moves, the announcement from Moves said there were no plans to “commingle data with Facebook.” Hold that thought.

Moves posted a revised privacy policy Monday, with the following language that seems to contradict its original statement about sharing data with Facebook:

We may share information, including personally identifying information, with our affiliates (companies that are part of our corporate groups of companies, including but not limited to Facebook) to help provide, understand, and improve our services.

Readers: Does this sound like “commingling data with Facebook” to you?
