Browser Extension Msn4FB Brings Features From Windows Messenger, Skype To Facebook Chat

The developer behind Timeline Remove and Restyle Timeline, Italy-based Secuna, is leaving timeline alone for the time being and taking aim at chat.

Browser extension Msn4FB brings popular features from Windows Messenger and Skype into Facebook chat, including:

The ability to replace Facebook’s standard smiley faces with animated emoticons like those offered by Skype.
These new custom emoticons can be seen by anyone — other users do not have to install the browser extension.
The ability to add large emoticons and animated GIF files.
Msn4FB can be customized with users’ shortcuts, as well as the fonts, sizes, and colors of their choice.
Users can send and receive nudges, much like Windows Messenger.
