Facebook App Provider North Social Debuts Mobile Platform Thumbprize

Facebook application provider North Social is going mobile with its release of new mobile marketing platform Thumbprize, which will enable marketers to extend their social media campaigns across all social networks and platforms via a single interface.

North Social said Thumbprize is anchored by a unified content-management system that enables page administrators to create coupons and contests without the need to build separate mobile sites or landing pages. Smart URLs will guide mobile browsers to pages that are optimized for their devices and desktop users to traditional websites.

North Social Managing Partner Alex Bernstein said:

Facebook traffic has shifted from desktop to nearly two-thirds mobile. Since Facebook does not allow fan page apps to run inside its mobile app, we decided to turn what was becoming a huge problem for our customers into an advantage. Thumbprize apps fundamentally change the way mobile promotions run both on and offline. It’s simple, really: Promotions that work seamlessly across multiple social networks and devices will deliver far better results for the brand.
