Social marketing software company Offerpop incorporated Video on Instagram into its Video Contest application, following last month’s launch of its Hashtag Gallery app, which also supports Video on Instagram.
Video Contests allows users to upload, share, vote on, and comment on videos via a mobile-optimized interface, and contests can be published to Facebook pages, custom landing pages, or websites. Facebook and Twitter users can also participate.
On the brand side, the Offerpop app offers features including entry moderation, full branding control, and real-time data integration.
Offerpop Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer Prakash Mishra said in a release:
Consumers love using Instagram’s mobile app to create and share videos. With the addition of Instagram features to Video Contest, brands can harness that content to amplify their reach and drive more participation in their marketing campaigns.
