Oreo Marks Mars Rover Landing With Facebook Photo

Oreo is one smart cookie when it comes to engagement on Facebook, following up its late-June status update expressing support for gay pride, which had totaled nearly 300,000 likes and more than 90,000 shares at the time of this post, with a photo saluting the successful landing of the Mars Rover.

The photo depicts an Oreo with red cream, representing the sand of Mars, and tire tracks cutting across the red cream to make it appear as if the Lunar Rover has passed over it.

The gay pride post featured an Oreo with rainbow-colored cream.

At the time of this post, the Mars Oreo totaled more than 19,200 likes and over 2,300 shares.
