Report: Facebook Page Posts Will No Longer Feature Third-Party Attributions

Facebook will eliminate third-party attributions in posts by pages, meaning that users will no longer see information that content was posted via applications such as HootSuite, TweetDeck, or Seesmic, according to a report by Wisemetrics.

The Facebook analytics provider said the change will be rolled out to all pages, with no way to opt out, but posts by users will be unaffected.

Wisemetrics added that the change has not yet been rolled out across the social network, and the company provided the before and after screen grabs below:
