PageLever Launches Minilytics For Facebook Marketing Novices

For Facebook page administrators looking for a first step into the world of marketing, PageLever recently launched Minilytics — a free service that aims to teach the fundamentals of social marketing. Minilytics serves as an introduction to PageLever, offering administrators a look at the best time to post, the number of fans the page’s posts reach, the most popular kind of content to post, and an analysis of the demographics of the fanbase.

Although Minilytics just got off the ground Friday, PageLever Director of Growth Brendan Irvine-Broque told AllFacebook that more than 1,000 accounts have already taken advantage of the service.

The goal for Minilytics is for it to act as an introduction to PageLever. Marketers who are just looking to dip their toes in the water or figure out the basics of their pages can utilize Minilytics, and then once they grow accustomed to it, look into the paid services offered by PageLever. Although right now, only four questions are addressed, Irvine-Broque said the company plans to add more depth in the future.

Irvine-Broque explained the new service to AllFacebook:

Our paid product is a very serious, robust analytics product, and we didn’t want to water anything down or try to appeal to all audiences, but at the same time, we wanted to create kind of a free, educational tool for people. Minilytics is kind of something that we built to educate the broader community, and I’m sure there will be people who use Minilytics to become customers of ours, but then there are a lot of people who, maybe they just manage a smaller page and this is what they need.
