Facebook Pages Manager Launches On Android In Select Countries

While Facebook users on iOS devices have had the luxury of Pages Manager to keep tabs on their pages, Android users have not, but it appears that the application has now made its way to those devices — however only in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. First noticed by Inside Facebook‘s Brittany Darwell, Pages Manager shows up in the Google Play store for U.S. and U.K. users, but is not available to them yet.

According to a Facebook spokesperson, the company launched Pages Manager for Android Thursday in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Users in the U.S. and the U.K. can see it, and it will be available to them soon.

Through Pages Manager, page administrators can post updates, photos, and respond to comments, as well as view and respond to private messages sent to the page and monitor page insights.

Until now, Android users have only been able to post content and reply to posts through the native app, but they couldn’t see or reply to messages or check page insights.

Poke and Camera are now the only iOS apps that are not currently available on Android.
