Parse Supports More Than 180K Apps, Improves Performance

ParseLogo650Facebook-owned cloud-application platform Parse now supports more than 180,000 apps, up from some 100,000 in September, Co-Founder and CEO Ilya Sukhar said at AWS re:Invent 2013 in Las Vegas.

Sukhar also told attendees at the conference that Parse has slashed the amount of time for scaling up services by 95 percent over the past six months, adding that latency has been halved over the same time period, to 100 milliseconds, improving the experience for Parse-supported apps’ end-users.

Facebook acquired Parse in April.
