CEO Of Payvment, Facebook E-Commerce Vendor, Steps Down

Payvment has been one of Facebook’s most prominent e-commerce solutions, led by CEO Christian Taylor. However, Taylor told TechCrunch Tuesday that he’s stepping down from his post, but will remain active within the company as a member of its board of directors.

Taylor told TechCrunch’s Josh Constine that he’s stepping down to work on another startup company. Four years ago, Taylor founded Payvment.

Here’s how Taylor announced the move to TechCrunch:

I’m ready to work on my next big startup! (after a short nap)

More than 165,000 small and midsized businesses utilize Payvment to facilitate purchases through Facebook. Chief Operating Officer Jim Stoneham will take over as CEO.
