Facebook Makes Two PMD-Centric Groups Public

PMDNews650Facebook quietly opened two groups to the public that had previously been available only to its Preferred Marketing Developers: PMD News and FB Marketing Technology Dev Community.

Alex Houg of BlitzMetrics alerted sister blog Inside Facebook to the changes in the group settings, and Christine Lu of Facebook posted on the latter group’s page:

In the spirit of being open and connected, today we’re opening up the FB Marketing Technology Dev Community group publicly. This group caters towards any developer using any of our marketing APIs (application-programming interfaces), and we’ve seen that it’s been a helpful channel for developers to lean on each other.

We’ll continue posting guides, product updates, and other technical information to the group. We hope that a broader audience will be able to benefit from it, and we encourage you to continue using each other for development discussions.

Readers: Will you check out the PMD News and FB Marketing Technology Dev Community groups?
