UPDATED Oct. 15, 4:28 p.m. ET: Facebook said it debuted the QR code reader for Android last year, and it is available globally on its Android app, allowing users to access their QR codes from the friends section of their menus, with anyone who scans those QR codes being redirected to those users’ Timelines.
