Officially, Texas Rangers relief pitcher Darren O’Day will see a specialist Wednesday to determine the severity of his injury. The player’s Facebook page says he’s going on the disabled list.
As reported by ESPN.com’s Texas Rangers Report blog, O’Day posted on his Facebook page, “Headed to the D.L. for a torn labrum in my left hip. Beyond that, I dont know much. Hopefully recovery will be quick, and I’ll be back on the mound in no time.”
At the time of this post, the Rangers had not made an official announcement, but fantasy baseball players might want to look into a replacement for O’Day.
