Find Sales Leads Through Facebook With Reachable

In social marketing, as the saying goes in Hollywood, it’s not always what you know, it’s who you know. A new social graph released recently by Reachable allows professionals to mine their Facebook friends (and their friends’ friends) for sales leads and new contacts.

The new software allows people to examine their contacts from social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, as well as email accounts.

By enabling social proximity selling, users can see potential leads as gleaned from their friends list, and their friends of friends. Users can search for a name, and Reachable’s software will show contacts in common and which people would be the best to reach first in order to get in touch with the person you’re looking for. Reachable feels that this is a new wave of social marketing, as sales leads are generated based on personal relationships, not geographic proximity.

Reachable CEO Al Campa explained the new technology in a press release:
