Application developers on Facebook have not had a way to determine how many users of the social network discovered their apps via the search bar on Facebook.com, until now.

Facebook announced in a post on its developer blog that canvas developers now have access to a “search results” tab in their app insights, located under “other features,” which displays total organic and paid clicks starting Jan. 21.

The social network added that information provided includes the number of users who clicked on apps from the search bar, and whether or not those users have graph search, but clicks via mobile devices or the search results page are not included.
