As Facebook Shares Top $70 Mark, Sheryl Sandberg Unloads More Than 280K

WallStreetStreetsign650Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg took advantage of the fact that Facebook’s share price crossed the $70-per-share barrier this week, unloading more than 280,000 shares in the company and bringing her personal holdings under the 10 million-share mark, according to her Form 4 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission Wednesday.

Sandberg sold 25,134 shares of Facebook class-A common stock at $69.1914 apiece; 85,700 at $70.1942 each; and 172,500 at $70.9756 per share. She now holds 9,799,068 shares in the company.

Chief Technology Officer Mike Schroepfer also revealed in a Form 4 filing that he sold 25,000 Facebook class-A common shares at $68.75 each, leaving him with 266,929.
