New CEO For Facebook Marketing Platform Shoutlet

Cloud-based social marketing platform Shoutlet has a new CEO: former First Data Executive Vice President of Global Product Management and Innovation Mark Herrington.

Prior to First Data, Herrington had been co-founder of Money Network, which was acquired by First Data, and he also worked with i2 Technologies, McCormick & Associates, American Software, and Oracle.

Shoutlet President and Chief Operating Officer Aaron Everson said in a press release announcing Herrington’s hire:

With his impressive accomplishments accelerating profitability and growth, we’re thrilled to have Mark come on board to continue to drive Shoutlet forward. Shoutlet’s technological leadership, combined with Mark’s first-hand understanding of the power and value of data and analytics, will undoubtedly be the combination to take the company to the next level.

Herrington added:
